Ibrahim's Incredible 5K Run Fundraiser

One of our amazing Year 6 pupils completed a 5K run to raise funds for the people affected by the recent earthquakes that have caused devastation in Turkey and Syria.

Ibrahim (Algebra Class) was so moved and upset by the news of the huge earthquakes, that he asked his parents if he could do anything to help.  He then suggested a sponsored run. 

All of us at Iqra Primary Academy are amazed and moved by Ibrahim's efforts, it shows great initiative and thoughtfulness to do amazing things like this. We are all incredibly proud. #WeAreIqra

This is not Ibrahim's first fund raising run, he completed a 3K sponsored run in 2021 raising over £3000 for a maternity hospital.  He wishes to beat that now and is intending to run 5K on Saturday 11th February at 09:00am at Lister Park.

Ibrahim wanted to raise as much money as possible to help the victims of the terrible earthquake.  He would love your support and hopes you can come on Saturday to cheer him on.
