Next week (W/C 15.05.2023) pupils in Year Two will be starting their SATs tests. Tests will be carried out in small groups with their class teachers. It is important that your child doesn’t take any time off school during the next two weeks (unless they are too unwell to come to school). Please ensure your child has a good night’s sleep and comes to school on time. 

There will be two Maths papers (Arithmetic and Reasoning paper) and two reading papers.  Pupils will be given some breaks in between these tests and all children will be allowed to work through the tests at their own pace.

Please reassure your child that these tests are not something that they need to worry about. The SATS tests will involve areas of the curriculum that they have been taught in school.
