Being a School Ambassador is a great opportunity for pupils to get more involved in the way their school is run.
The Ambassador Council is typically made up of two children from each KS2 class (Year 3 – Year 6). These children are elected by their fellow pupils and staff to represent their classmates. The members select a chair, vice-chair, secretary and treasurer.
Ambassador’s take part in small pupil led projects. It is the responsibility of each Ambassador to ensure that they express both their own views and the views of their fellow classmates.
Our school Ambassador’s have been busy developing an environmental campaign. They have been looking at ways to keep the school clean, reducing the litter around streets and educating children and parents about keeping the environment clean. The Ambassador’s also took part in some litter picks and designed posters.
