The children enjoyed taking a trip back in time to the Victorian era. Pupils spent the day as Victorian children and were able to see the differences between school life. The children followed strict rules, ate gruel and experienced how both Maths and English were taught. Even the teachers got involved with the gruel tasting!
“Welcome to the Taj Mahal restaurant!” Year 6 have been reading the hilarious novel Gangsta Granny this half term and have based their fantastic writing around this book.
On Monday morning, children upon their arrival at school were welcomed in to the TaJ Mahal restaurant ( if you have read Gangsta Granny you will understand). Pupils were to be waited on by their teachers and critique the atmosphere, food, costing, service and over all experience. We can happily say that all reviews were positive!
