We aim to provide you with information on all the activities we undertake in support of Iqra Academy and its pupils, as well as keeping you up-to-date on our latest news and events.
In addition, we have set out some information below about the PAG – which we hope will give you a better understanding of who we are and how it works:-
Iqra’s Parent’s Action Group is a voluntary group and of which ALL parents and carers of children attending Iqra Academy (nursery and primary) are entitled to attend meetings, voice their opinions and make suggestions for improvements etc.
The main objective of the group is, in partnership with the school and parents, to enhance the education, attendance and well-being of Iqra pupils.
The PAG plays an extremely important role in the life of the school and assists it in a number of ways:
The group always welcomes and encourages new members to ensure there is a breadth of representative opinions from all year groups and also to capitalise on the talents, skill sets and experience of our parents.
Meeting new people and knowing more about what goes on at Iqra, are just some of the benefits you will gain by being involved with our PAG.
Our meetings are open to everyone, so why not come along to one and listen to the range of topics being discussed – you can contribute as much or as little as you wish and choose to get involved as much or as little as you wish. The meetings are informal and relaxed, and held every last Tuesday of the month at the main school. Dates of forthcoming meeting are published on the website.
If you would like any other information regarding the PAG, are interested in joining us or have suggestions or ideas, please do not hesitate to contact us in the following ways:
